Story
Rotterham Home was a hospice for young people—a place where teenagers with terminal illnesses went to die. Nobody who checked in ever checked out. It was a place of pain and sorrow, but also, remarkably, a place of humor and adventure. Every night at twelve, a group of young guys and girls at the hospice came together to tell stories. They called themselves the Midnight Club, and their stories could be true or false, inspiring or depressing, or somewhere in-between. One night, in the middle of a particularly scary story, the teenagers make a secret pact with each other.

Long live The Midnight Club!

The Midnight Club is one of the most captivating books I've ever read. It's an emotional tearjerker with an unexpected ending that left me reflecting long after I turned the last page. Christopher Pike truly is a genius in crafting such profound and moving stories.

Based directly on Frank Herbert's final outline, which lay hidden in two safe-deposit boxes for a decade, Sandworms of Dune will answer the urgent questions Dune fans have been debating for two decades: the origin of the Honored Matres, the tantalizing future of the planet Arrakis, the final revelation of the Kwisatz Haderach, and the resolution to the war between Man and Machine.

You have to agree on one thing…

The ending is absolutely gorgeous compared to most books. Although I disagree with some parts. I think Frank would laugh in a good way. To be fair, Heretics and Chapterhouse are fun books, but they're not perfect either.

Did anybody actually forgot the first 3 books?
Reviewed: 01-21-22
This whole story defeated the purpose of the first 3 books & Tim Burton’s film adaptation. Nothing made sense, not a single page, it's like, and correct me if I'm wrong... This felt worse than How I Met Your Mother Season 9, and also worse than Star Wars: The Last Jedi combined. As a teenager in my life, I would never have done this to anyone. No teenager with a clear mind chases another person (knowing that he can mentally hurt someone else) for another person he just met (2 seconds ago) and make that new person the highlight of his life. Jacob didn't even go that far for Emma (she felt more like a victim). No one would have done this in real life. Also, Jacob's so-called family friends felt more like supporting characters who were brushed aside as if they were nothing just like Miss Peregrine. Jacob actually helped Noor more in 1 book than he did for his friends in 4 books.

TRON Legacy meets The Matrix meets The Notebook. Can’t say too much. But it was worth it! P.S. Truly hope they make a movie out of this sequel!
