Story
Kelly Bishop’s long, storied career has been defined by landmark achievements, from winning a Tony Award for her turn in the original Broadway cast of A Chorus Line to her memorable performance as Jennifer Grey’s mother in Dirty Dancing. But it is probably her iconic role as matriarch Emily in the modern classic Gilmore Girls that cemented her legacy. Now, Bishop reflects on her remarkable life and looks towards the future with The Third Gilmore Girl. She shares some of her greatest stories and the life lessons she’s learned on her journey.

I loved everything about this book. Fascinating life, humorous, wise, and fun! I especially love how Kelly is child free and spoke on that decision in her life.

Story
Long ago, at the height of the Golden Age of Piracy, the infamous pirate Ramsey and his shipmates sacrificed everything to embark on an impossible journey into the Sea of Thieves. In the present day, Larinna, an ambitious stowaway determined to leave her mark on history, joins forces with a wild and adventurous captain seeking the greatest treasure ever buried. Separated by time but united by their drive to uncover the secrets of the Sea of Thieves, both crews face tricks, traps, and malevolent creatures as they draw nearer to Athena's Fortune.

You don't need to have played the games too understand the story at all, however it's way more fun if you have.
Not a single complaint to be had with this story, and the fact that it takes place in our world in an undiscovered part of the sea is all the more immersive.
