Story
Joe Pickett is the new game warden in Twelve Sleep, Wyoming, a town where nearly everyone hunts and the game warden—especially one like Joe who won't take bribes or look the other way—is far from popular. When he finds a local hunting outfitter dead, splayed out on the woodpile behind his state-owned home, he takes it personally. There had to be a reason that the outfitter, with whom he's had run-ins before, chose his backyard, his woodpile to die in.

the book reminds us that all species must be saved and not allowed 2 ever ever become extinct. all people, animals, plante's, and all the other creatures great and small should not have there life cycle put down or eliminated buy greedy entrepreneurs or the lesser of mankind. if the smallest element in life is eliminated we have caused a great Injustice that was not in the Lord's plan it could affect the stability of the world and our salvation. who amongst you kill the last... never could be seen again.

Story
Professor Theo Cray is trained to see patterns where others see chaos. So when mutilated bodies found deep in the Montana woods leave the cops searching blindly for clues, Theo sees something they missed. Something unnatural. Something only he can stop. As a computational biologist, Theo is more familiar with digital code and microbes than the dark arts of forensic sleuthing.
