Not very good

After reading hundreds of self-help books I found that some are written to really integrate some unique and inspiring insights but others kind of just fill up pages. I really liked the other book by this author on da Vinci I was pretty disappointed by this book… It didn’t seem like he did much research or effort other than just writing a lot of words and filling up pages

Story
Comedian Kate Willett was married to a woman and thought she'd never have to deal with men again. That is, until she found herself dumped, suddenly single, and mystifyingly...mostly attracted to dudes. Like any good comic, she was inspired to investigate, and thus ensued her hilarious, sometimes high-stakes personal research into the world of men, culminating in a beautiful, difficult romance.

A truly amazing story

I’ve been really amazed that one audiobook could act as a thought provoking treatise on what it means to be a good man and as a truly hilarious lighthearted entertainment story while being humble, heartwarming and inspiring. If you’re even considering it I’d recommend you to give it a listen

Matthew’s ability around storytelling is incredible and listening to his stories is so emotionally moving and this book really lays out exactly how to be that kind of The storyteller yourself. How could this become required reading in high school?

Interesting book with a histrionic narrator
Reviewed: 11-11-20
It was a prettyvaluable book for understanding alchemy and psychology, only limited by an excessively Christian viewpoint. The big problem with it was that the intonation and cadence of the narrator was downright awful.

Story
For decades we have been taught that fat is bad for us, carbohydrates better, and that the key to a healthy weight is eating less and exercising more. Yet despite this advice, we have seen unprecedented epidemics of obesity and diabetes. Taubes argues that the problem lies in refined carbohydrates, like white flour, easily digested starches, and sugars, and that the key to good health is the kind of calories we take in, not the number.

What a fantastic book?

I’ve been studying nutrition for about seven years in this book would easily be my favorite to recommend after about 150 different diet and nutrition books. Wow, what an incredible compilation of relevant information in the story of why diet advice carries so widely and why low carbohydrate diets should get the research funding it deserves.
