The Narrator was torture to listen to.

The story has potential and might be better with a different narrator. As it was, the person reading it drove me nuts having to listen to his monotone reading and his "girl voice" . It was annoying and distracting and I had to fast forward at times. As a book you could read, it would be great, as one read to you by Siri sounding like tootsie
, not so much.

Now, I only listened to one chapter. But t was a struggle. It was sounding like a knockoff of Rosemary baby. it may have gone in a different direction after I closed it out. I wasn't listening to it any more. The narrator's voice was actually distracting! And he sounded like he was rushing to finish the book FROM CHAPTER ONE while speaking in a high monotone.

Not quite what I was expecting

I had all ready seen the movie so was expecting the book version to be similar whilst giving more detail to the character s thoughts and feelings. This is the same, but very different story. I enjoyed listening. I finished it in 3 hours .
