Story
As President Trump’s national security advisor, John Bolton spent many of his 453 days in the room where it happened, and the facts speak for themselves. The result is one of the few White House memoirs to date by a top-level official. With almost daily access to the president, John Bolton has produced a precise rendering of his days in and around the Oval Office. What Bolton saw astonished him: a president for whom getting reelected was the only thing that mattered, even if it meant endangering or weakening the nation.

I have never been a big fan of John Bolton; however, I strongly believe his book is dead on accurate.
The most chilling line in the whole book, is to imagine how Trump would behave, without an impending re-election... Terrifying!

THE Most Terrifying Book I've Ever Read
Reviewed: 06-15-20
Without a doubt, this is the most terrifying book I've ever read. Chapter 22 alone, will make you long to hide in your closet and cry yourself to sleep.
The authors' ability, to deftly bounce from high-end science, two economic and social consequences is staggering.
My favorite part of the book, is how they highlight the enormous impact of unintended consequences.
It is an absolute Must-Read in pandemic times...
