I’m not much of a reviewer but I have been an avid listener since 2008 and I wanted to state that I really enjoyed this book and the previous one. I absolutely love the western fantasy mix ( dark tower series my most favorite). Then throw in the gender/sexuality theme!! I’m loving it. I very much hope audible gets the rest of the series.

I went back and forth on whether to get this book. I’m so glad I did. It was weird, funny and so entertaining. Mr Lane is definitely one of my favorite narrators. He really really brings the books alive. The deciding factor for getting this book was the fact that he was the narrator.

Story
Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, lives peacefully in Arizona, running an occult bookshop and shape-shifting in his spare time to hunt with his Irish wolfhound. His neighbors and customers think that this handsome, tattooed Irish dude is about twenty-one years old - when in actuality, he’s twenty-one centuries old. Not to mention: He draws his power from the earth, possesses a sharp wit, and wields an even sharper magical sword known as Fragarach, the Answerer. Unfortunately, a very angry Celtic god wants that sword, and he’s hounded Atticus for centuries....

This was a great listen. Light and very entertaining. Oberon, the Irish Wolf Hound is by far my favorite character. The narrator did a very good job esp with Oberon.

Story
On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

I'm only half way through and it is fantastic. The story is making me WANT to work out and go to work just so I can listen to it! The narrator is very, very good, I love his different voices. To anyone reading this comment and thinking about spending the credit, do it. This is a definite listen!!!!
