Wonderful beginning to a series

I was uncertain going into this book but it didn't take long before I was hooked. While I'm excited for and cannot wait until the release of Eventide I will wait to read anything further until Witching hour has been released and is on audio narration as well because while this book doesn't end with a cliffhanger it does end with Sebastian and Tomren preparing for the next journey in their lives and I would rather not have to wait to continue reading the series until it's end. I will without a doubt be purchasing the next books as they are released and can't wait to finish reading their story. Definitely recommend.

Spoilers below** This author has become a one click for me and I was a little hesitant at first after reading the blurb but I'm so glad I read this book. Definitely would recommend this! It was so easy to fall in love with Damion and Massimo and join them on their emotional ride of ups and downs. Would really love to see a book 2 in the future that goes into the relations between the Fold and the Outside as well as Damion's Dragon ability and obviously more on his relationship with Massimo.

I've known him since we were kids. We were best friends, sharing everything - until I made a mistake and got a girl pregnant. Pretty soon, I was a single dad while I was still a kid myself. Our friendship suffered. He joined the military. And I thought I'd never get another chance to let him know what he really means to me. Now he's back, reeling from the loss of his newborn baby's father, and he needs a place to stay while he settles back into parenthood and small town living. I won't pressure him. I won't rush him. And if he's still not interested, I'll let him go.

Terrible narration
Reviewed: 07-08-21
This is in my top 5 of the absolute worst narrations I've ever listened to. While the narrator did an okay job, as in wasn't monotone, I couldn't get beyond 35% and said no more and just went to reading the rest of the book which I enjoyed immensely. Skip the audio and just read the book. I normally do the ebook with the whispersync for voice so I can follow along in the book with the narration and since I've enjoyed the previous titles in this series I bought the ebook and audio book for this one and figured I could just thumb through the book manually, worst decision ever.

I was hesitant at first with this being a love story between a human and a dragon but it quickly grew on me and I am very thankful I took the time to read this. If you’re questioning whether or not you should read this I recommend taking the chance, I think you’ll be as pleasantly surprised as I was. Can't wait for the next part to become available.

This was an amazing story. I haven't been this moved by a story in quite some time. Since I just finished reading and listening to this I'm still in tears, tears of happiness and sorrow. This is a definite must read if you enjoy a good love story especially with the added twist of a ghost.

After the death of his wife, Tanner Rowe takes a step toward making her dying wish come true and buys the house with the dilapidated barn she'd been drawn to in the Upper Peninsula. But after a year, he still can't get past his grief long enough to make the repairs he'd promised. Recently out of prison, Cole Lachlan has little to his name. Homeless, broke, and without many options as a felon, Cole heads to Red Bluff with hopes of a second chance. There he meets Tanner, whose loneliness mirrors his own, and soon Cole is trading room and board for rebuilding the burned-out barn.

Carter - Relationships - who needs 'em? Fortunately, as far as my options go...well, let's just say I'm used to getting what I want, whenever I want it. Unless your name happens to be Sawyer Burke. Sawyer - I've always been a relationship guy. I never understood the urge to bed a different guy every night. Unfortunately, I can't get Carter James out of my head. I told myself I hate him - and I should. He's everything I'm not - loud, sassy...and more than a little annoying. But I want him too, and he's made no secret of wanting me.

Chapter 5 and 33 mixed up and disappointment
Reviewed: 02-28-20
Not sure how or who to submit a complaint to but chapter 5 is actually chapter 33 and chapter 33 is actually chapter 5. To say the least it pissed me off because going into what I thought was chapter 5 and being in shock by suddenly hearing I was on chapter 33 and not responding quickly enough to stop the playback I was abruptly hit with a major spoiler for the whole damn book. I couldn’t let that go against my reviews because it’s not the authors or narrators fault this occurred but either way I'm still very disappointed in audible to release something with such a huge mix up.

There's something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori. Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price's attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah, Georgia. He's the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.

I had recently watched the film which I had discovered in the credits was based off of this book, I'm not finished with this book yet however I'm glad I watched the film first or I would've been greatly disappointed in the adaptation of the book into film from what I'm gathering thus far. No matter, I'm anxiously awaiting for the release of the second film in the series, I'm hooked, I have a hard time concentrating on any book, be it visual or audio, but I'm able to focus on this one quite well, excellent writing and narration
