This is one of the best teachings on the beatitudes. Father uses a lot of history and provides context for the chapters used for this book. Providing context is really helpful as it helps me understand who Jesus was talking to. Use of language anthropology (my perspective) also helped me understand the meaning of the words attributed to Jesus. I feel better equipped to continue this journey.
