Story
Taiberos, his mind unhinged by his stint in infraspace, is driven by one thought—get revenge on Starchild—and he will hold nothing back as he unleashes his fury on Solace. But Nak lies defenseless, unaware of the return of Taiberos and unable to defend himself. For two percents (roughly two Earth years), he has lain still, as if in death, the coma having taken all but his breathing, and there are no signs that he will ever wake.

this was a really good finish to an excellent trilogy! Washburn lets you know at the end of the book, that there's a lot more to come which makes it more satisfying and makes it more exciting. this feels just like Star Wars. It also feels a lot like dune. It also feels a lot like Halo. It also feels a lot like guardians of the Galaxy. My point is, it's got a really good blend of so much beloved sci-fi that it will scratch the itch if you're looking for a great sci-fi story and love all of those I just listed. My favorite part of it was the imagery and the vivid colors and descriptions of this new to me world. This trilogy is well worth your time!

Story
TAIBEROS has crushed every hint of rebellion. Like the grip of his cybernetic hand, he maintains a relentless hold on the populace. The power he hates most is the psionic magic of THE SONG—a force so strong it flows out as light from the eyes. People with such powers are called RADIANCES, and Taiberos’s Witch Hunters kidnap any that surface. As the radiances slowly vanish, so does the galaxy’s hope.

What an amazing ride! I loved this story and the characters. I kept thinking I knew where it was going to go, and then it would change! At first I thought it was just like OG Star wars, and then it was nothing like it at all. The imagery that the author used was stark and vivid and it helped to make the characters pop out with memorable quality. This is well worth your time!

Story
Branded a terrorist, now I'm one of the galaxy's most wanted. Most hunted. And I'm paralyzed with fear. Not only of my execution. Not only of psychic premonitions telling me it ends in fire and water. Not only of nightmares with the red-eyed assassin twisting his blade into my abdomen. But because I harbor a secret.

This is a great sequel! It feels so familiar to other sci-fi or adventure stories, yet has such different characters and changes in the plot that it makes it a whole new and fresh experience. One moment it nearly draw on concepts like Star Wars, Firefly or Halo, and the next it takes you to a place you have absolutely never been and gives you a ride that is unique and very entertaining!
I can't wait for the third book!
The narrator is rock solid and does an excellent job making very clear distinctions between characters, while doing a great job painting the pictures and emotions that the author has created in this new world.

Story
Line Rider is the true story of the life of Joseph Harrison Pearce (1873-1958), written by his own hand. During his lifetime, the “wild west” from the storybooks still lived and breathed in one of the last places to be modernized—Arizona.

EXCELLENT and authentic!

While being autobiographical, this book and the stories found therein, are interesting and entertaining. The stories and real life experiences, genuinely take you to the old west and an entirely different world. Treasures of this kind, are invaluable to understanding the generations of powerful individuals who quite literally blazed trails for the rest of society. In hearing these stories, one not only realizes what a tiny contribution they are to understanding that world, but they are also transported there in small part by the imagery and personal touch of the author. This is absolutely worth your time if you enjoy any tales of adventure or the old west. It is particularly noteworthy for those with pioneer or latter-day Saint heritage.
The narrator of this book doesn't excellent job and seems to tell it in a way that makes you believe he was there.
