I liked how the author does not make any statements based on his beliefs, but rather simply shares his own experiences.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m only speaking for myself and based on my opinion, perception, and feelings on this audio book I just finished.

I bought this book thinking that I was going to understand and learn a lot more on autism from a medical perspective.

I agree with lots of things the author mentions. But I felt like there too many statements based only on personal experiences, which IMO lacked científicas foundations since they weren’t brought up at times when I considered they’d be suitable to back up some of her affirmations.

While I learned some interesting facts about autism, I believe a subtitle sort of explaining more about the general concept of the book would help us readers a lot before making a purchasing decision.

I liked this book so much because it goes straight to the point and utilizes the KISS method to explain things and deliver its message and objective which is to prepare yourself for any sort of interviews by providing precise data.

I strongly recommend it if you’re (like I am) trying to increase your interview skills.

Reading this book in 2022 leaves me wondering about the opportunities that have now arisen for the author to do some updating polishing.
That said, I think it’s a great source for bringing psychological self awareness as human decision makers.

The story is good but from the beginning I sort of felt like dropping out due to the intense and overwhelming details the author uses in her words. Perhaps reading The Art of Storytelling will give her a better idea of what kinds of things could be left out without harming the essence of your message/story?

This book brought awareness into my life about being able to tell stories for any ocasion. More importantly I learned I have the potential to do so as I’m sure everyone else does.
C’mon, give it a shot.

Goggins did an outstanding job telling his story. This one is a must-read for every single human being on the planet. A great example of what we are capable when it comes to body and mind.
I just loved it. The only (bad) thing I’ll say about and that’s of course my opinion, is that there were a couple of times when I felt like he was victimizing himself. Every time he reminds you of what he has been through in the podcast, not the book though. I know he is trying to reinforce the whole thing but still, maybe he is not in a position to “brag” about it but rather Adam would have sounded better saying those things. Still, I loved this book. Let me do the translation for the Spanish version! That’s an order Goggins.

Living in San Diego made it a bit more interesting for me as lots of parts take place here.
