Story
I’d been prom queen and cheer captain—high school’s most savage Queen Bee. I could have everything I wanted. Except them. The freaks, the weirdos, the school’s ultimate losers: Manson, Jason, Lucas, and Vincent. Our hatred for each other couldn’t keep us apart, not even when my own mistake got Manson expelled and made me the ultimate villain to the rest of them.

Pretty Good

I’m gonna read the rest of the series. The male narrators voice was awfullllll. I wish the whole thing was done by the girl. If I didn’t pay a credit for it I probably would’ve stopped listening to read it. The storyline is interesting, she’s a bit too bratty and shallow for me at this point but I’m only halfway through

Story
There were several things Vera was quite skilled at. Wielding a blade and pretending to be human were two of them. Following the rules and controlling her anger, were not. Raised in the heart of the Matherin Empire, Vera spent most of her life forced to hide what she was, and what she could do. Until, one day, she foolishly confronts a strange male she spies tailing the Crown Prince. The more answers she uncovers about herself, the more questions arise - and nothing is adding up. Vera must decide what to do, not only with her life, but with the ancient power inside her.

I gotta say, it’s a great read and enticing story, I’m excited for the next. But I did think it was a little short. Also, if the storyline wasn’t as good as it was, I would’ve stopped listening. The narrator is awful, she sounds blah and monotone most of the time

And idk if I will because frankly and I can’t believe I’m saying this, but there’s just too much sex. Not enough storyline. I find the male character to be an annoying, arrogant jerk and don’t see how they’ve been friends for so long or what’s like able about him besides that he must be mind blowing in bed.

Story
In fifth grade my teacher set us up with pen pals from a different school. Thinking I was a girl, with a name like Misha, the other teacher paired me up with her student Ryen. My teacher, believing Ryen was a boy like me, agreed. It didn't take long for us to figure out the mistake. And in no time at all, we were arguing about everything. The best take-out pizza. Android vs. iPhone. Whether or not Eminem is the greatest rapper ever. For the next seven years, it was us. She's the only one who keeps me on track, talks me down, and accepts everything I am.

Too much back and forth

Will she? Won’t she? We all know how the book will end. Just a bit too much back and forth for me. I love the narrator and I love the authors take on being Chinese and not looking the part sometimes. I like the humor. Overall A good listen

I love the acting and her voice. I loved how creative the plot is. I’ve read so many titles that books become predictable but this author is just amazing (I’ve read her other books too.) they keep me fully engaged. I will say this though, she was figuring out things I did not anticipate or understand at first and then the main thing (the “bad guy” I figured out wayyyyy before she did and was getting annoyed.)

Jack Diller is just one more struggling actor on the road to nowhere. He’s got an agent who barely remembers his name, his ex-girlfriend has hooked up with a Silicon Valley dude, and the milk in his fridge is so far past its sell-by date it’s historic. The only way Jack can scrape together a bare existence is by delivering food to exactly the types of successful people he wishes he could be. Then, one day, a very strange audiobook shows up on his phone.
