A very wholesome, warm, simple, heartwarming, feel good story. Even to the point of being a little sappy. But I really enjoyed it. I needed a book like this to read and it was a real change of pace from the everyday thriller! It was a very well tale about the Red Cross girls of WW II.

Sorry but I found the story hard to follow and to say the least a little outlandish. I will say it was a good tale but more a fantasy than a historical fiction novel.
