Por años evité leer estos libros o ver las películas, pero la oportunidad de tenerlos todos juntos sin gastarte un dineral era demasiado atractiva. La verdad es que empecé muy crítico, pero hay que dar la razón a los miles de fans. Es un universo muy interesante y que da mucho juego.

Libro muy bueno, La narradora es horrorosa

Una lástima que hayan elegido a esa tipa para leer este libro tan bueno. Hay dos actores que leen: un hombre y una mujer. El hombre es buenísimo, de lo mejorcito que hay. La mujer es lo peor: además de que habla como parafraseando y parece una maestra de escuela leyendo un dictado, ¡sisea y silba las eses! Prueba a escucharla por horas y te dan ganas de darle una bofetada virtual. Más mala que pegar a una abuela con un calcetín sudado.

Libro sorprendente.

La narrativa es extremadamente simple: escrito en primera persona y jugando en la fina línea entre la ficción que parece una historia real. En segmentos del libro habla de personas que realmente existieron, así que a veces da lugar a la duda de si el autor realmente entrevistó al sicario.
El narrador lo hace bien. Hubiera estado mejor que fuera un colombiano, pero hace lo que puede. Sin embargo, la edición deja que desear, ya que hay veces que repite frases que en la edición se han pasado por alto eliminar. También el narrador a veces pone acentos donde no hay en los nombres propios. Pero en general, no se hace incómodo. Me ha gustado particularmente como le da un toque desenfadado como actuando el personaje.

Es un texto histórico tirando a periodístico. Se hace entretenido para escucharlo mientras vas a correr. No da para mucho, y parece más el tratamiento de una novela. El narrador está bien, es el mismo de siempre en esa casa de fonolibro.

OMG, I couldn’t believe how many times I heard “he/she nodded”! I read the first book long ago and I loved the concept, saw that there was a continuation and heard this book. This whole book is one of the worst things I heard in this app. It is all fails: no need to list them, it has it all.

Como de costumbre Raul LLorens ha hecho un trabajo excepcional al narrar esta genial historia. El autor hace un magnífico trabajo a la hora de situarnos en una de las batallas más famosas de la historia y la conquista de Africa vista desde la perspectiva del Romano. Totalmente recomendable.
