A must hear for those who claim to enjoy orchestra
Reviewed: 01-03-20
Robert Greenberg takes us chronologically through these orchestral works with enthusiasm and perfect context. I feel equipped to hold much better conversation about music and have noticed that even members of orchestra may not very well know some of these insights into the very pieces that they play. But Mr. Greenberg has shared them with us. This is a must for any music lover.

monotone monotone monotone.

this narrator could really use a lesson in charisma. especially regarding voice modulation. reviews require at least 15 words. but I think I pretty much summed this up in my first two sentences which were less than 15 words. Therefore, if I could review the review portion of audible I would say the 15 minimum word requirement is stupid

"It doesn't take an Einstein to understand modern physics," says Professor Wolfson at the outset of these 24 lectures on what may be the most important subjects in the universe: relativity and quantum physics. Both have reputations for complexity. But the basic ideas behind them are, in fact, simple and comprehensible by anyone. These dynamic and illuminating lectures begin with a brief overview of theories of physical reality starting with Aristotle and culminating in Newtonian or "classical" physics.

the professor seems to be able to relate extraordinary natural phenomenon, but regularly references visual aids to do so.
if you are listening to this lecture, chances are you don't necessarily have access to the visual reference material provided.

a genuine learning experience

this was a genuine learning experience that open my eyes to the real, honest survey of our history of science. there were surprises of major well-known characters, and there were discoveries of characters I never knew.
additionally, there were many surprising themes. For example, this series will certainly change many Minds about the so-called battle between religion and science.
I've listened to the entirety of these lectures twice now. just an enormous wealth of knowledge that is now bestowed to me.
