Story
Mere Christianity is C.S. Lewis' forceful and accessible doctrine of Christian belief. First heard as informal radio broadcasts and then published as three separate books, The Case for Christianity, Christian Behavior, and Beyond Personality, Mere Christianity brings together what Lewis sees as the fundamental truths of the religion.

Story
Set in the intriguing Scotland of 200 years ago, the third installment in the romantic adventures of Jamie and Claire is as compelling as the first. Now that Claire knows Jamie survived the slaughter at Culloden, she is faced with the most difficult decision of her life. She aches to travel back through time again to find the love of her life, but, in order to do that, she must leave their daughter behind.

Traumatized Again
Reviewed: 09-21-11
After waiting two years to continue listening to this series due to being traumatized from the first book and the voluntary raping of a highlander. I enjoyed the second book without needing therapy. Downloaded the third to listen to on my anniversary trip and was rewarded with the highlander offering himself up on a platter to a "friend". When the friend refused the charity he then voluntarily kisses him on the mouth. I am not a homophobe and have many gay friends. I just can't deal with a person traveling back 200 years in time to find out her B.A. highlander has bisexual tendencies. Love the narrator and the idea of the story line......just could have done without the trauma.

Story
By edict of the king, the mighty Scottish laird Alec Kincaid must take an English bride. His choice was Jamie the feisty youngest daughter of Baron Jamison. Alec ached to touch her, to tame her, to possess her forever. But Jamie vowed never to surrender to this highland barbarian. Though his kisses fired her blood, shadowed secrets from Alec's past threatened Jamie's happiness. She brazenly resisted him - until one rapturous moment quelled their clash of wills.

Rosalyn Landor brings the characters to life and had me laughing out loud. Great story and great ending. Hopefully more of Garwoods work will be available in audio format.
