This is a very sweet story about two people who seem to want different futures but fall in love anyway. The narrators do a good job bringing the characters to life.

Joy and Dalton are smoking hot. This frin-enemies, brother's little sister to lovers book has it all - banter, steamy scenes, mild angst, lots of laughs, brotherly love, and a side of hockey. Hope also appears and we get to find out more about her and Ben. The narrators do a great job.

Richard was such a jerk in the beginning that I almost turned off the audio. Katie was too meek, and it was annoying to hear her get walked on. I kept listening, and while I was impressed with the emotional transformation, the plot was boring and predictable. The steam was barely a sizzle and would have been better as fade to black. Male narrator was boring and monotone.

I have a new favorite Bro Code member-Davis is swoony, considerate, and kind. Sloane is a closet bad a$$. the narrator's are perfect. The book has so many cameos with the 1st epilogue being my favorite. It's a perfect end to this series though far from realistic- just the way we love Pipa Grant books.

Loved Stevey and Bishop's banter. This was a super slow burn despite the many jokes and references to sexy time. I appreciated the subplot around managing diabetes and how it affecta loved ones. Narrator's pacing was a little all over the place, but the performance was overall decent.

This series has 2 of my favorite things: strong women and the swoony men who support them and love them for their strengths and weaknesses. All three books are the perfect combination of steamy and sweet.

This is a very cute story about finding love after 40 in the workplace. The side characters are hilarious and keep the book entertaining. This is a slow burn open door romance, but that is the part of the book flops completely. It is written in a mechanical way and lacks emotion or realism. The scene felt stuck in the book and was just meh. The ending is worth the listen/read.

As for the narration, it is literally done by a robot and lacks any and all emotion. You cannot tell when Alex is speaking vs Meg. Sometimes the emphasis in a sentence is completely wrong and changes the meaning of the sentence. couldn't believe how bad it was for the cost.

Relentless: This book didn't fit the overall impression I had of Oliver from the previous books; he didn't seem like the type to fall into insta-love like Holt. Shay's character was a weird mix of insecure and proficient business woman. Her monologuing was painful especially with the pace of the narrator; had to listen at 1.2x speed. To me this title was a 3.5.
Resolution: Wade's story was amazing. He grew from a quiet introverted guy who shunned human relationships into a man who was deserving of love. His backstory was masterfully woven into the story and kept you guessing. Dara's character was a perfect mixture of flirt and serious. She was his match in every way that mattered. This was a 5 star read/performance.
