Story
Despite Joy’s victory over Alethus’ servants, his plans haven’t been stopped. Even so, a glimmer of hope lies before her, and she and her friends are determined to grasp it. That doesn’t mean it will be easy, though. An army is invading Dorma, one with the same destination as Joy. Their goals are sinister, but they aren’t going to stop Joy and her friends.

it's been four years

this is my one of my favorite LitRPG fantasy worlds and it's been four years and nothing. I know it takes a lot of work to write these books and Medrano has several other series he his working on but it's been FOUR YEARS. I really hope this isn't going to be a DNF project

In the year 2045, an MRI mishap transmits Tabitha Moore's mind back into her body in the past. Now it's 1998. She's 13 years old, and she has to confront her long miserable lifetime of failures—and, once again, being trailer trash—all over again...or does she?

a story concept I've never experienced before

I love this book. I've listened to it dozens of times and I really hope we get another one soon so I can find out what happens next. There are so many unanswered questions and open ended conflicts that have yet to find any kind of resolve and I'd be so disappointed if this was the only book in Tabitha's story so I'm still hoping we get a # 2 🤞

Story
When puberty brings on her first shift, Missy goes into the mountains for two years - until finally learning to change back. She can change from fully human in one instant to a mountain lion in the next. Everyone assumes her two-year disappearance was because she'd been kidnapped by a sexual predator that she managed to kill. She keeps her werecat nature a secret. There is no pack, no pride of other werecats, and no alpha.

Finally!

I'm so excited to finally have found a REAL heroine! she's tough and smart and can kick ass without getting cocky and careless. I also love how even though there is a bit of romance going on, it does eclipse the story! it's the perfect balance and Missy is now my favorite book hero (if only she had a cooler name!)
