Story
He is powerful, older, and my boss, a lethal combination. Job satisfaction has taken on a whole new meaning. When I lied on my resume, I didn’t expect it to matter. I mean any child would love me; I was born to be a nanny. I applied for a position working for a woman, or so I thought. But Julian Masters is definitely all man...the kind you dream of licking chocolate from. The first day was bad. The kids were the spawn of the devil and I spied through a window and caught him doing something obscene...and equally fascinating.

gets better as it goes on

I had a difficult time getting used to the narrators but as I got into a few chapters, it was better. I did blow through a few chapters because the story dragged but from chapters 19 on, I was hooked! Love the attraction between the two and the sex was HOT! The story of his deceased wife was shocking. didn't see that coming and was happy to not have guessed it. I don't much care for too predictable story lines.

Story
I’m the type of girl who’s given up on fairy tales. So when Beck – the hot new busboy at work - starts flirting with me, I know better than to get my hopes up. Happily ever afters aren’t for the average. I learned that the hard way. But how can I be expected to resist a man who can quote Austen, loves making me laugh, and seems to be everything hot and good in this world? Only there’s so much more to him than that. Billionaire playboy? Check. Troubled soul? Check.

Story
It started out like any normal day. Then the fender bender happened. The guy I collided with drove an expensive car and was drop-dead gorgeous. Too bad he was also a total jerk. We argued over whose fault it was and any other thing that came out of his condescending mouth. Eventually, the police came and we went our separate ways. The insurance companies would have to figure things out. I had a job interview to get to anyway - one I was excited about. Though that excitement changed to disappointment the moment the person interviewing me walked in. The guy from the accident.

I am usually intuitive enough to guess what is forthcoming in a book, but not this one!
Its filled with love, sadness, empathy, friendship, and the best of all, lots of hot steamy sexy stuff!!
the authors are great. I rarely laugh when reading books and perhaps listening makes it better but I found myself chuckling many times!
great, great read!

Not what I expected

I was expecting something different and was initially underwhelmed but then thr big WOW momemt came and I was hooked. There were some repetitive parts but in the end the friendship is what saved the book for me.
