exceptional achievements and exceptional book!

Usually I listen to audiobooks at 2x, sometimes at 2.5x. This audiobook is a very long listen. I listened it at 1x and enjoyed every single second of it. Mr. President's voice, his sense of humor, his humbleness and gratitude to people who helped him, absolute respect to all people, empathy and thoughtfulness. I loved it! Extraordinary. I'm a big fan of Barack Obama now:)

Story
The path to personal and professional fulfillment is rarely straight. Ask anyone who has achieved his or her biggest goals or whose relationships thrive, and you'll hear stories of many unexpected detours along the way. What separates those who master these challenges and those who get derailed? The answer is agility - emotional agility.

if you have any emotions you have to read it!

A must read book! I read multiple good books about changing your life, career, having crucial conversations etc. They are full of great tips and rules, but all of them lack the core - fundamental princeples of how to live with your emotions. This book fills the gap - it covers emotions in a systematic, succinct and easy to understand manner, while keeping you a bit entertained and hooked.

Story
From batting averages and political polls to game shows and medical research, the real-world application of statistics continues to grow by leaps and bounds. How can we catch schools that cheat on standardized tests? How does Netflix know which movies you'll like? What is causing the rising incidence of autism? As best-selling author Charles Wheelan shows us in Naked Statistics, the right data and a few well-chosen statistical tools can help us answer these questions and more.

Recommend to listen even if you teach statistics

Even if you know statistics you will find this book pretty interesting. It has lots of examples to support a statistical method in each chapter. It raises important question to ask yourself on a regular basis.
