Story
An incredible story that will always stay with the listener, The Incredible Journey is a moving tale of unshakable faith, loyalty and a companionship so strong that it defies the odds of nature. Instinct told them that the way home lay to the west. And so the doughty young Labrador retriever, the roguish bull terrier and the indomitable Siamese set out through the Canadian wilderness.

Good narrator, music annoying.

Enjoyed the narrator. But the music was annoying and detracted from the story as it was a bit loud.

Story
The light of the Christian faith is flickering out all over the West. American churches are beset by a rapidly secularizing culture, the departure of young people, and watered-down pseudo-spirituality. Political solutions have failed, as the self-destruction of the Republican Party indicates, and the future of religious freedom has never been in greater doubt. The center is not holding. The West, cut off from its Christian roots, is falling into a new Dark Age.

Interesting and full of tidbits
Reviewed: 07-25-19
I enjoyed this book. It was interesting and full of tidbits which can be followed up on like the education information. Overall 4, but if I wasn’t able to speed up narrator it would have been a 3.5. He read too slowly for me at regular speed and I found it monotonous.

Story
Dale Maharidge’s father, like many World War II veterans, never talked about “the good war”. There was just one clue to his dad’s experience as a US Marine - a portrait with a close friend that hung permanently in their home. In The Dead Drink First, Dale, now a Pulitzer Prize-winning author, recounts his 18-year quest to find and repatriate the missing remains of his dad’s buddy, Herman Walter Mulligan, 73 years after he was killed in action.

So Glad I Listened
Reviewed: 07-02-19
This was not an easy listen, especially at first, as a borderline millennial. My grandparents were too young to fight in WWII and too old to go to Vietnam or Korea. I am very removed from the reality of this and my school education was not much different then most. Listening to the Veterans talk was heart wrenching and eye opening. The trials of the author and his brother, and the reality that many of his generation faced. And those were the men that came home.
The story was enthralling albeit upsetting at times. A real life horror story to some degree as well as a resurrection story. Definitely not for the faint of heat though.

Story
Known for his network of conservative websites that draws millions of readers everyday, Andrew Breitbart has one main goal: to make sure the "liberally biased" major news outlets in this country cover all aspects of a story fairly. Breitbart is convinced that too many national stories are slanted by the news media in an unfair way. In Righteous Indignation, Breitbart talks about the key issues that Americans face, how he has aligned himself with the Tea Party, and how one needs to deal with the liberal news world head on.

I found this book absolutely fascinating. It was well written and appeared well researched. While providing a lot of information I found that it remained completely enthralling.
