Recently graduated at twenty-six, and two months behind on rent, Oliver Barnes is desperate. So desperate, in fact, that he applies for a job in the Greed district of Hell's Pentagram. But when he misses his train and, subsequently, his job interview, he stumbles, instead, upon a strange little coffee shop in the middle of Purgatory's barren desert—and into an unexpected opportunity. It isn't the job he came to Hell for, but maybe it's exactly the job he needs.

I’m loving this series, and the narrator is perfect for it! I’m eagerly awaiting stories for the other brothers—and some of the other omegas we’ve met! The concept of the dating reality show for dragons to find their mates is great, and the execution is even better. My friends and I are all invested!

Great mystery, fun interaction
Reviewed: 05-18-23
This audiobook had me hooked (although the solution to the mystery was fairly obvious to me relatively early on, especially once a previous case came to light, so I was more impatiently waiting for our detectives to get it lol). Nick did a wonderful job narrating, and the pacing was fantastic. I’m looking forward to more of this series!

Story
Jordan O'Neill isn't a fan of labels, considering he has a few. Gay, geek, a librarian, socially awkward, a nervous rambler, an introvert, an outsider. The last thing he needs is one more. But he when he realizes adding the label "asexual" might explain a lot, it turns his world upside down. Hennessy Lang moved to Surry Hills after splitting with his boyfriend. His being asexual had seen the end of a lot of his romances, but he's determined to stay true to himself. Leaving his North Shore support group behind, he starts his own in Surry Hills, where he meets first-time-attendee Jordan.

Worth it for the Irish accent alone
Reviewed: 05-15-19
I’ll admit that my take on this book may be colored by how utterly charmed by Sean Crisden’s narration I was (who knew he could do an Irish accent?). I love books where the characters meet online, and I thought this was a lot of fun. I see other reviews calling it boring, and while there certainly wasn’t much action (in or out of the sheets), I enjoy a sweet, low-key book once in a while. I liked seeing Dovid and Sam grow from a tentative friendship to love, though I question a little bit that (minor spoiler) someone to whom sex was important would be content with kisses and cuddles when the other said he was willing to attempt more.

A great short
Reviewed: 08-06-18
Sometimes I like something short that doesn't take me days of time snatched between other obligations to listen to. This fit the bill nicely. I'd read it before, but listening adds a new layer to it. The narration was great.
I’d forgotten how insta-love and possessive of a main character this has. I kept thinking it was Mary Calmes (not a criticism- I love Mary’s books!). It’s short but fun and sexy, and one I definitely recommend for a quickie.

Ranch hand Roe Davis absolutely never mixes business with pleasure - until he runs into his boss, Travis Loving, at the only gay bar within 200 miles. Getting involved with the ranch owner is a bad idea, but Roe's and Travis's bedroom kinks line up against one another like a pair of custom-cut rails. As long as they're both clear this is sex on the side, no relationship, no interfering with the job, they could make it work

Edge-of-the-seat story, fantastic narration
Reviewed: 06-23-18
I often have a hard time getting through audios. I tend to get impatient and switch over to reading, or drag it out so long I lose interest. Not with this one, though! As eager as I was to see HOW this story could POSSIBLY have a happy ending, the narrator was doing such a wonderful job with voices and accents that I didn’t want to switch to text. And the story - wow. It had some angst (and I cried), but the action and sexy times were outstanding. Definitely one I’ll return to someday.
