Story
From Israel to Afghanistan. The definitive combat history of the F-15 Eagle and Strike Eagle...as told by the pilots who flew them. For more than 40 years, the McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) F-15 Eagle has been the US Air Force’s premier multi-role fighter jet. Made popular by its ubiquity during the Persian Gulf War, the F-15 has become one of the most recognized and revered fighter jets in the world today. Throughout its illustrious combat history, the F-15 has earned more than 100 air-to-air victories...with zero losses.

The Narrator makes this a tough listen.

The story is good enough but the narrator constantly mispronounces things, especially in the last parts of the book. Tired maybe? To call Davis - Monthan AFB, Davis-Monmouth is one example. In a technical book that has lots of acronyms this could be confusing of you had flown in the F-15. One example is the referral of CAS as the individual letter C.A.S. versus CAS which is how we say it , pronounces kass. Or we say Close Air Support which would be less confusing for a listener with no tactical fighter experience or a glossary in front of them .
