Story
The title comes from the story of the Phoenix—a Greek legend of a bird/dragon that arises from the ashes of its predecessor—being born again. It relates to the situations people may be in now—low achievement, lack of success, mediocrity.

Story
Sequestered in the blackness of the dreaded Tower of High Sorcery in Palanthas, surrounded by nameless creatures of evil, Raistlin Majere weaves a plan to conquer the darkness - to bring it under his control. Crysania, a beautiful and devoted cleric of Paladine, tries to use her faith to lead Raistlin from the darkness. She is blind to his shadowed designs, and he draws her slowly into his neatly woven trap. Made aware of Raistlin’s plan, a distraught Caramon travels back in time to the doomed city of Istar in the days before the Cataclysm.

Great story, but...

Another great story in the Dragonlance series by Weis and Hickman. It had much less active adventuring and battling than the Chronicles trilogy but was still an excellent follow up nonetheless. My only criticism is that the reader did not make any attempt to use different voices for the different characters in the story which made it a little difficult to follow at times. Also I found it a little irksome that he kept pronouncing Tas and Sturm’s names incorrectly as well as a few others, but also that he at times even pronounced the same names differently from previous occurrences in the same book. Still high marks overall though and I definitely recommend this book to anyone who has already finished the Chronicles books and is eager to continue the adventure!

The Conversion Code is the REAL DEAL!!!

If you could sum up The Conversion Code in three words, what would they be?
Enlightening, empowering and not just a must read....but a must implement!!
What did you like best about this story?
Information, entertaining and simple to follow but not easy.
Which character – as performed by Chris Smith – was your favorite?
Chris is hilarious in the Audible version. I don't know how you made it through without laughing!
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Glengarry Glen Ross who? This is The Missing Link
Any additional comments?
I promised Chris several weeks ago that I would purchase, listen to and journal my experience with The Conversion Code. I must admit, I had high hopes but they weren't high enough. My business and lead conversion has more than tripled in 1 months time! I'm creating more leads than ever before and follow up is no longer a scary word. There's nothing else out there like this. Sure people talk about lead generating etc...but not a sure fire, proven scientific method to convert your leads. Step by step plan. Great job Chris! Great job. I will continue to journal my experience and will share as I continue to master Chris' teachings!

Story
Imajica is an epic beyond compare: vast in conception, obsessively detailed in execution, and apocalyptic in its resolution. At its heart lies the sensualist and master art forger Gentle, whose life unravels when he encounters Judith Odell, whose power to influence the destinies of men is vaster than she knows, and Pie "oh" pah, an alien assassin who comes from a hidden dimension.

Excellent story but not for the average enthusiast that wants to listen while they wash dishes, this is an intense journey!

Great story but be aware that it can be difficult to follow if you aren't paying attention as there are so many different characters, scenes, subscenes and plot twists. Even a momentary lapse can cause you to miss something important and some chapters I've had to listen to twice to get the full picture of what is being presented.
I bought and read this book some 20-odd years ago when it was first published and available on the stands. Clive Barker is unquestionably a master story teller but will test the limits of the average person's vocabulary from time to time. This audio book was brilliantly read by Simon Vance and listening has been a wonderful journey both back into the past for me as well as the future and I've found myself getting much more out of the story this time through it. All in all I rate this as 4 stars which is as high as I've ever rated any audio book to date. If you like deep and complicated plots that are thought provoking as well as entertaining enough to keep you on the edge of your seat for hours on end the you'll love Imajica. Highly recommended!
