Story
Guy Montag is a fireman. In his world, where television rules and literature is on the brink of extinction, firemen start fires rather than put them out. His job is to destroy the most illegal of commodities, the printed book, along with the houses in which they are hidden. Montag never questions the destruction and ruin his actions produce, returning each day to his bland life and wife, Mildred, who spends all day with her television "family."

Maybe it was a grandparent, or a teacher, or a colleague. Someone older, patient and wise, who understood you when you were young and searching, helped you see the world as a more profound place, gave you sound advice to help you make your way through it.

This is one of those books that stay with you.
I recall being a child in the backseat of my parents car on a road trip and listening to Tuesday’s with Morrie. I always remembered roughly what the story was about but I thought of it it recently and decided to revisit and experience it again all of these years later.
The lessons Morrie discusses for how to value your time, people, and the things that are important in life are amazing reminders of how precious life is - to not take it for granted, and to live life the most fulfilling way you can. Not being afraid to be more in touch with your sensitive side and being genuine with all of those you come across.
These are excellent philosophies for how to live a more rewarding way of life. I’ll always remember these lessons and Morrie’s words fondly.
Thank you to, both, Mitch and Morrie. Your mentorship and friendship is one of the things life is all about.

Story
This is the true crime best seller that was the basis for Martin Scorsese’s film masterpiece GoodFellas, which brought to life the violence, the excess, the families, the wives and girlfriends, the drugs, the payoffs, the paybacks, the jail time, and the Feds...with Henry Hill’s crackling narration drawn straight out of Wiseguy and overseeing all the unforgettable action.

Story
Ernest Hemingway said, “All modern American literature comes from one book by Mark Twain called Huckleberry Finn". One hundred years after its author’s death, this classic remains remarkably modern and poignantly relevant. In this new edition, Elijah Wood reads Huck in a youthful voice that may be the closest interpretation to Twain’s original intent. His performance captures the excitement and confusion of adolescence and adventure.

I genuinely enjoyed this adaptation of Huckleberry Finn. The rafting excursions take you away to the days of the American Midwest along the Mississippi River. Mark Twain does it again!
