Absolutely Engaging

I enjoyed every bit of the book. I have always recommended it to several people. To some it may sound democratically focused, however when you listen to it in its entirety, you do come to realize that there is an overall focus on being balanced, and just delivering the news and opinion of the author. I really appreciate the book and the insight into what’s going on in the situation room. Thank you for your hard work

Story
Henry Winkler, launched into prominence as “The Fonz” in the beloved Happy Days, has transcended the role that made him who he is. Brilliant, funny, and widely regarded as the nicest man in Hollywood (though he would be the first to tell you that it’s simply not the case, he’s really just grateful to be here), Henry shares in this achingly vulnerable memoir the disheartening truth of his childhood, the difficulties of a life with severe dyslexia, the pressures of a role that takes on a life of its own, and the path forward once your wildest dream seems behind you.

It is like you are real people ! I say that in jest as you appear to have a relationship so similar to that of my brother and I. Well told and a nice high level view of Hollywood and its complications. I appreciated hearing the appreciation of parents Rance and Jean along with advice and support given along the way. I worked as a Casino Host and often dealt with celebrities. I had a very positive experience meeting Dennis Weaver whom Clint worked with and spoke of. Great Story, Thank you for sharing it.

Story
Packed with new reporting, Tired of Winning: Donald Trump and the End of the Grand Old Party tracks Trump’s improbable journey from disgraced and defeated former president to the dominant force, yet again, in the Republican Party. From his exile in Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trump has become more extreme, vengeful, and divorced from reality than he was on January 6, 2021. His meddling damaged the GOP’s electoral prospects and his legal troubles were mounting. Yet he re-emerged as the frontrunner for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, and the president-elect.

I think it would’ve been good to remark on the name of the book several times early in the story. As things proceeded further into the story I’ve heard the name of the author which I think had been mentioned earlier and then I realized this is a book that I’ve purchased. It was great to hear further insight into the story and the research.

Story
Bob Odenkirk’s career is inexplicable. And yet he will try like hell to explicate it for you. Charting a “Homeric” decades-long “odyssey” from his origins in the seedy comedy clubs of Chicago to a dramatic career full of award nominations - with a side trip into the action-man world that is baffling to all who know him - it’s almost like there are many Bob Odenkirks! But there is just one and one is plenty. Featuring humorous tangents, wild characters, and Bob’s trademark unflinching drive, Comedy Comedy Comedy Drama is a classic tale told by a determined idiot.

Robert Iger became CEO of The Walt Disney Company in 2005, during a difficult time. Competition was more intense than ever, and technology was changing faster than at any time in the company’s history. His vision came down to three clear ideas: Recommit to the concept that quality matters, embrace technology instead of fighting it, and think bigger - think global - and turn Disney into a stronger brand in international markets.

though I really enjoyed the story there is one thing that I would have liked to have read. I would have loved to read more about some of the obstacles that were faced and how they were overcome and how you experienced more failures but overcame them to pursue your dreams. Regardless, I really enjoyed it and I thank you for sharing a moment of your life.

I love the either thing. I appreciate the openness of the story. The self reflection is something we all should do. To have to live in the public eye and constantly be judged for where action would be hell for anyone. Thank you for your story, my wife and daughter will like this also. Well done Demi.

Story
In Everything Trump Touches Dies, political campaign strategist and commentator Rick Wilson brings his darkly funny humor and biting analysis to the absurdity of American politics in the age of Trump. Wilson mercilessly exposes the damage Trump has done to the country, to the Republican Party he served for decades, and to the conservative movement that has abandoned its principles for the worst president in American history. No left-winger, Wilson is a lifelong conservative who delivers his withering critique of Trump from the right.
