Extremely Inspiring and a great read

This book encouraged me so much to stay rooted in Christ and to trust in his plan for my life. It encouraged me to never stop seeking good community and to remember I am not alone in my burdens, Gabe put the struggles of so many of us into words in such a beautiful way and to know someone i look up to so much goes through similar if not thr same things I feel as well was very comforting.
I have been following the Contes sense before the "jess and Gabriel" channel even existed, and I feel like I have been able to (partially) watch Gabe grow into the man of God he is today, He inspires me in so many ways from his passion for art (in many forms) to his love for his wife baby girl, but mostly I'm truly inspired by the example he sets in his relationship with Christ. Congratulations on an amazing book, Gabriel!

Story
At the front of a middle-school classroom in Oklahoma, a boy named Khosrou (whom everyone calls "Daniel") stands, trying to tell a story. His story. But no one believes a word he says. To them he is a dark-skinned, hairy-armed boy with a big butt whose lunch smells funny; who makes things up and talks about poop too much.

Pay Attention...You Just May Become a Better Human

My friend recommended this for our book club, and I hated pausing from week to week as we kept to the predetermined pages being read. Reading along while listening to the author on Audible has endeared me all the more to his narrative, and I am moved by how vulnerable he is. To understand people, you have to truly listen to and hear their stories. I would enjoy knowing Khosrou because I have heard his story. Thank you, Daniel. And, thank you to your mom.
