Story
Josiah Foxglove is given a second chance when he takes over his family's spread in the shadow of the Snowy Range. A veteran of the Gulf War, he came back broken in body and spirit. Marcus Colton buried his long-time lover and best friend three years ago. Lonely and still grieving, Marcus finds solace in protecting Petilune, a pretty girl with learning difficulties, who will surely become a victim of abuse and neglect without his help. But that doesn't help him get through the long, dark nights.

A Very Enjoyable Story
Reviewed: 04-16-17
What did you love best about The Eagle and the Fox?
The narrator was wonderful and the two main characters are complex, likable and sympathetic. You want a HEA for both of them.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Eagle and the Fox?
When Marcus and Josh realize that they love and complete each other.
Have you listened to any of Nick J. Russo’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have listed to several of his performances. He always delivers. You can definatey tell the differences in characters and he does female voices very well. A rough spot for some other narrators.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It is a long book so one sitting would be difficult. But I suggest listening for you have a few hours, the story is a little complex and you will want to pay attention.
Any additional comments?
I really enjoyed it. Ms. Rawlyns is a good story teller. The romance between Marcus and Josh is sweet and passionate. It takes a while for the romance to begin but worth the wait. Enjoy!

Mark Westfield is such a good narrator!!! He us especially good with the female voices. Most male narrators are horrible with their feminine cgaracters. He is awesome. As for the review, if you are a fan, you already know. If not, start with book 1 and fall in love!!!

Story
When homicide detective Dexter J. Daley’s testimony helps send his partner away for murder, the consequences—and the media frenzy—aren’t far behind. He soon finds himself sans boyfriend, sans friends, and, after an unpleasant encounter in a parking garage after the trial, he’s lucky he doesn’t find himself sans teeth. Dex fears he’ll get transferred from the Human Police Force’s Sixth Precinct, or worse, get dismissed.

Superb story and narration. The characters are complex. The story is fascinating. Great spin on the m/m shifter theme.
I had grown a little tired of shifter stories but a read a review and thought I would give it a try. As serious as the underlying theme of bigotry is, there is also some of the best LOL lines I have ever read. The sex is sparse but very hot! Going to listen to the sequel right now.

Story
A serial killer is preying upon gay men in Los Angeles. Detective Cassidy Ryan of the LAPD is out to stop the monster before more mutilated corpses turn up. The victims have one thing in common and it leads back to an infamous online club called DOMZ.com. The website owner, Zachary Teak, is stunningly gorgeous and infuriatingly uncooperative.

The narrator choice for the voice of Zach was disappointing. I have listen to other books by him, Frathouse Troopers, and he was very good. The story was ok but lacked emotion. And Ms. Logan needs to brush up on her police procedures. I am going to give another one of her books a try though.
