If you’re looking for an uplifting story, this isn’t for you. It’s quite a downer but very well told and well written.

Stop bashing Catholic

I was very interested in this book until I encountered a number of instances where the Catholic Church was attacked and depicted unfairly. I wonder if she just thinks that attacking the Catholic Church makes the book more dramatic. I completely disagree with her depiction of the participants in Catholic charities as liars and her inclusion of unfortunate incidents that undermine the wisdom and good deeds of the church. I wish I could find authors that can write a story without attacking the religious beliefs of others.
