Awesome beginning to a series!

I really hope the rest of this series comes to audio soon! The full-cast narration was absolutely fantastic. Each voice actor did a superb job bringing the characters to life and made for an incredible listening experience. This is a shifter, why-choose romance featuring a trio of panther brothers: Blue, Jax, and James. Harmony, the heroine, has had a rough upbringing-
bouncing around foster homes, enduring abuse, and eventually surviving on the streets. Each brother brings something unique to the relationship: one is a cuddler, one is the alpha, and one is the protector. While there is spice, it’s tastefully done. There’s no over-the-top, kinky foursomes here. It’s more about tender moments, a lot of watching, petting, and one-on-one connections where each relationship builds individually. I especially loved the vampire introduced in this story! There's a great lead-in for him to be the focus of Book 2, and I’m already excited for more. The storyline itself is intriguing, and the steamy scenes are spicy without being cringey or overly graphic. Ultimately, this is a beautiful story of Harmony finding love, acceptance, and a forever family with her panther mates. Highly recommend! And fingers crossed we get more audiobooks in this series soon!

Ok, I’m officially depressed!! Because Book 3 isn’t available on audiobook yet! 😩
This series has completely hooked me. The storyline is fantastic, and the characters are so vibrant and interesting. Someone once described it as The Sopranos meets The Golden Girls, and honestly, that’s the perfect description. I can see this playing out as a hilarious and heartfelt TV series in my head. It’s packed with drama, comedy, and romance, all wrapped up in one fabulous package. Important: This is pure Rom-Com goodness, not a dark romance. And I love it even more because of that! The narrators are phenomenal, giving each character a distinct voice and making the story even more addictive. This series is now an instant one-click buy for me, both in print and audio. I’m praying Book 3 is already in the works because I cannot wait to see where this story goes! Highly recommend if you want a fresh, funny, and fabulous Rom-Com series.

Izzy Marciano hates being the prodigal daughter. But with her ex getting too stalkery for comfort, the competitive single mom grabs her nine-year-old son and retreats to the safety of her mob-boss dad’s East Coast stronghold. And when her father hires a smoking-hot bodyguard, she has to constantly remind herself that the chiseled guardian is supposed to be totally off-limits.

I absolutely loved this story! It checked all my Rom-Com boxes—witty banter, all the feels, swoon-worthy romance, and just the right amount of spice. Important to note: This is not a dark mafia romance. If that's what you're looking for, you’ll want to look elsewhere. This story feels more like the kind of comedy-mafia show I could easily see playing out on TV, and I'd binge every episode! The narrators are phenomenal, delivering multiple voices in a duet style, and they absolutely nailed it. The storyline was intriguing, and there’s clearly more to come. The only downside? As of now, only the next book is available in audiobook form. There are so many interesting side characters that I was hoping this was a spin-off from an established series... but no, this is the very beginning. (And what a strong start!) I cannot wait for book two! Highly recommend if you're in the mood for an excellent Rom-Com with a clever twist.

Dorian is a bad a$$!! Loved her story

Dorian is one tough chick. Loved her story. She was introduced in the first book as the twin sister of Dylan (MFC from 1st book). She is a sharpshooter and sergeant of arms in her dad's MC club. At the end of book 1, she is kidnapped by the love of her life, who happens to be the MC's enemy (of course). I personally love Will and Dorian together. You find out about their history more in the 1st book. I do recommend reading them in order or you will not have as much of the back story. Dorian was a victim of rape at the hands of a rival mafia when she was a teen. The attack is not very graphic, and it is actually Will who helps her escape. Narrator did a fabulous job! I am looking forward to next book- I think the first 3 are on audiobook.

Great listen

This is a new author for me. I met her at a book convention and am finally able (no pun intended) to listen to books that are on audio. I really enjoyed the book. Abel has married Dylan, who is the MC's president's daughter. Some very comical moments between the protective dad and new hubby. Their relationship reminds me of the relationship Harry (played by Bruce Willis) and AJ (played Ben Affleck) had in Armageddon. I could see the book as a series on TV. It is about a motorcycle club and mafia, so the characters are morally gray. However, they are definitely a family that sticks up for each other. There are some triggers you would likely find in typical mafia stories, It is a short listen, under 6 hours. The narrator has a fantastic voice. I think he did a great job narrating. I already have next book loaded and ready to listen to Dorian's story.

Story
Hi, I’m Celia. I’m a kitchen witch and I run The Lost Lamb bakery in Hidden Hollow, a small New England town where it’s almost always Autumn. I just turned forty—it’s not a very happy birthday since I’m all alone but to my surprise, I got a very unusual birthday gift—a huge portrait of a handsome demon whose eyes seem to follow me wherever I go.

I love the Hidden Hollow Series
Reviewed: 04-08-25
The Hidden Hollow series is one of my favorite series of Evangeline Anderson. I have read several of her Kindred series- I personally love the way she writes her stories- the MMC are always respectful and protective of their MFC. Hidden Hollow is like the adult version of Halloweentown. I have absolute enjoyed the first 2 books I have listened to on audiobook. Ada Sinclair does an amazing job. There are some parts in this story that has to be sung, and she does it perfectly. In a nutshell, a kitchen witch inherits a painting of a demon (a very hot one I will add) that is trapped in the painting until he is released via magical spell that Celia happens to invoke on accident. It's funny. It's romantic. Has plenty of spice!
