If you could sum up Steve Jobs in three words, what would they be?
Grating, Genius & Determined
Any additional comments?
At first I almost stopped a third of the way in but am glad I persisted as the genius comes out more as you see why he did what he did, transforing not only the computing industry but also the music industry, not to mention the Pixar excellence. Its also an eye opener that high CEO's can be jerks and genius's all in one. He changed my world without me even knowing it, thank you, Steve Jobs.

Story
Why we think it’s a great listen: It’s easy to say that when it comes to sci-fi you either love it or you hate it. But with Ender’s Game, it seems to be you either love it or you love it.... The war with the Buggers has been raging for a hundred years, and the quest for the perfect general has been underway for almost as long. Enter Andrew "Ender" Wiggin, the result of decades of genetic experimentation.

Would you listen to Ender's Game again? Why?
Yes - because it is an interesting story from a young persons perspective - 'the adults wont step in to help, they never will' which is like life isnt it, we must press on - perhaps without anyone's help.
Again an original story with some captivating consepts when considering it was written in 1985, sorry Apple, you didnt invent the tablet computer as much as you like suing others because you think they copied you but perhaps Orson Scott Card, like other Sci fi writters, thought of the concept long before you did.
What other book might you compare Ender's Game to and why?
The Princess of Mars - far better than the movie
What does Stefan Rudnicki and Harlan Ellison bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Great Narration
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
you fart eater (try saying that to someone who is angry at you - am guessing they will just start laughing)

Story
A Short History of Nearly Everything is Bill Bryson’s quest to find out everything that has happened from the Big Bang to the rise of civilization - how we got from there, being nothing at all, to here, being us. His challenge is to take subjects that normally bore the pants off most of us and see if there isn't some way to render them comprehensible to people who have never thought they could be interested in science. It's not so much about what we know, as about how we know what we know.

Who and what was discovered first.
Any additional comments?
Overall well researched and facinating story of our discoveries around the world. I didnt like the last chapter on evolution, I am a christian so I shouldnt like it anyway but Bill re-affired my dislike for it with all the contradictions and theories or should I say scientific assumption of evolution, why call it evolution when "guesswork in order to deny God's existance" is a more appropriate title, someone needs only go outside and look at the beautiful world to realise God's handy work. The rest of the book was facinating and excellently researched, fully recommend the first 75% of the book!
