A lot of insinuations without much back up. Core of the story appears to hold however. Would be better without the same platitudes that Arif peddled.

Book went very broad relative to the first one. It will be interesting to see how all of this ties together.

perfect narration.

story has a strong start and continues almost to the end. unfortunately, the finale is all to predictable and anticlimactic. overall I enjoyed the read and can't say I regretted reading this

Story of an ego maniac written in the perspective of a ego maniac. I would not recommend this book. Gives a false picture of Wall Street.

First book that puts into lay men's terms what happened in Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Browder presents a very interesting personal experience and a contrast to how Russians think of their government and corruption. My only wish is that Browder elaborated more on his business experience. Also if I had a dollar for every time someone "teared up". Highly recommend for anyone working in finance. Only complaint about the book is the authors sometimes generalizing statements about Russians, like the only thing they care about is money. Not only is that blatantly hypocritical to apply on an entire nation but it applies to a specific set of individuals (Browder characterized everyone in the country as corrupt). Finally, this books makes me wonder if it's another ploy in the play.
