Liked the focus on friendship instead of just sexual intercourse. The reason for her virginity was not religious… that is a plus

This story is heartwarming, characters are well-developed, the feel of a small town in the mountains prevails and the love story is beautiful in that they were friends before being HEA

It is difficult to say how bored I was listening to this book set. Unimaginable stories, unrealistic happy endings and less than interesting narration.

Why do I always finish these books?

The first listen, tears poured down my face as I fell an uncanny oneness with Emily. Her grief over J’s attitude was almost like an experience I had earlier in life. After that experience, I didn’t cry for 16 years. The author was exceptional in reflecting love, anger, and reconciliation.

Looking forward to next book.

A dysfunctional family 5 years after a sudden death of the father is made whole when a man refuses to go away. The author treated the separation and questionable reunion very well. The male narrator has an incredible sexy voice.

Enjoy it

A bit more sex than how to survive. In fact, it almost seemed that at a moment’s notice the woman stopped what they were doing and satisfied the men.

It almost seemed like they were sultans with one woman in their harem,

The story was wrapped around the twins (girl with disability) let by the boy. Their woes from being sent from London and death of both parents. Somehow- it might have been the narrator- I could not feel the children. I heard a lot, but the pov just didn’t fit, at least for me.
