Story
At the time of our meet-not-so-cute, I didn't know the handsome man with the most captivating blue eyes was the wealthy, charismatic, and hot-as-sin hotelier - oh, and my new boss. Well, technically he is my boss' boss. Just skimming the company manual was maybe not the best idea. But I digress. Working at Hart Hotels and Spa was a temporary plan. Now, that plan has changed. Jackson Hart not only wanted me in his bed and in his life, he wanted me working alongside him. Some offers are too good to pass up.

Horrible MFC voice

I will go back and read this story because the story had promise but the female voice grated in me. I would swear it was a bad attempt at AI. I feel this hurt the authors success with this story

Story
Paint your toes. Pick up the wrong coffee and bagel order. Drive from Brooklyn to Jersey in traffic so slow you want to tear your hair out. It’s amazing all the useless things I can accomplish while on hold for three hours with customer service. Three hours when I should be getting the Date-in-a-Box website ready to launch at the big business expo in a few days. Except my shiny new website is glitching, and my inner rage-monster is ready to scorch some earth...when he finally picks up. Not the robot voice I expected but a real live human named Kal.

Great approach but the ending could be longer

I loved the concept of how the story was presented like live action. I felt lacking with the ending because it felt unfinished

Story
If you’re a fan of A Series of Unfortunate Events, Edward Scissorhands, or the darkest bits of Roald Dahl, the Weirdie triplets - Barnacle, Garlic, and Melancholy - will feel like old friends. After being left behind when the entire estate of Deadeye Manor is packed up for a doomed vacation cruise, the triplets have to learn how to fend for themselves.

Awesome and woefully hilarious

I wasn’t sure what to think when I saw the reading time was under 2 hours. But my 6 yr old daughter and I love reading/listening to “peculiar” storylines (and it was included with our membership) so we gave it a try. This story and narrator were absolutely AWESOME. It was hilarious and sad at the same time. Some of the story went over my daughter’s head but it was easy enough for her to follow. Just enough maturity that adults would enjoy the story as well. We are looking forward to the next installment :)
