Weird pauses in narration

The narrator paused at odd times & it really broke the flow of the narration for me. It was even more noticeable the faster I listened.
I also didn’t love the story.

Story
Martin and Peggy Chance believe love should last a lifetime. With their fiftieth wedding anniversary on the horizon, they’ve modeled a beautiful relationship for their three grown children. But to their dismay, that lesson hasn’t quite caught on—the three siblings just can’t seem to take a chance and find love in their own lives.

Fun & fast but definite problems

There were two voices that I didn’t like and they really detracted from the story for me.
As far as the story goes, Palmer was insufferable and every tome her part came up, I wanted someone to smack her.
There were a lot of fun parts in this and I chuckled several times. The characters voices were also good, which is a feat considering there are 6 points of view — even without the announcement of the POV at the beginning if each chapter and the change of narration, I would have known which character it was.
I almost liked the siblings figuring out their relationships more than the romances, though., which os a bit of an issue in a romcom.
