To achieve happiness and do the right thing. Ryan Holiday calls it stillness - to be steady while the world spins around you. In this book, he outlines a path for achieving this ancient, but urgently necessary way of living.

More than just a reminder

I thought this would be a reminder for being calm. much more than that, Holiday highlights the importance and effects of calm stillness and how slowing down, actually pushes us further. I loved this, this book is now a part of my list that I will re listen to continuously.

Story
Twenty-year-old Violet Sorrengail was supposed to enter the Scribe Quadrant, living a quiet life among books and history. Now, the commanding general—also known as her tough-as-talons mother—has ordered Violet to join the hundreds of candidates striving to become the elite of Navarre: dragon riders. But when you’re smaller than everyone else and your body is brittle, death is only a heartbeat away...because dragons don’t bond to “fragile” humans. They incinerate them.

The writing was incredible. The performance was a little corny at times, but holy moly I couldn't stop reading it.

I had to pause over and over to take notes because literally every sentence of most chapters were that good. I will probably listen to this book on repeat for a few months while I develop my 1st business and new course. He's giving scars without the pain of going through them with your own business.

In Coraline's family's new flat are twenty-one windows and fourteen doors. Thirteen of the doors open and close. The fourteenth is locked, and on the other side is only a brick wall, until the day Coraline unlocks the door to find a passage to another flat in another house just like her own.

loved the story and performance. However, I didn't love the music additions and the distorted voices of some of the characters. I could have went without that. But I really loved the book.

Story
The intimate biography of the iconic DJ who was lost too soon. Tim Bergling was a musical visionary who, through his sense for melodies, came to define the era when Swedish and European house music took over the world. But Tim Bergling was also an introverted and fragile young man who was forced to grow up at an inhumanly fast pace. After a series of emergencies resulting in hospital stays, he stopped touring in the summer of 2016. Barely two years later, he took his own life.
