Story
By sixth grade, Miranda and her best friend, Sal, know how to navigate their New York City neighborhood. They know where it's safe to go, like the local grocery store, and they know whom to avoid, like the crazy guy on the corner.
But things start to unravel. Sal gets punched by a new kid for what seems like no reason, and he shuts Miranda out of his life. The apartment key that Miranda's mom keeps hidden for emergencies is stolen. And then Miranda finds a mysterious note.

I LOVED IT WITH ALL OF MY HEART!!! (Don’t read if you have read the book ;)
Reviewed: 02-19-22
My English teacher assigned me this book to read and answer questions. I can’t tell you how much I LOVED it!!! I loved it because it was well read by Cynthia, and most of the books I listen to are with people breathing heavily or really swallowing there spit. So I’m so happy my teacher showed me this, and my favorite part was the ending where Miranda and Colin become a couple :D

The author, Leil, takes you though so many intricate items to add to you conversational tool box! I looked forward to starting the next easily digestible chapter to see what I would learn next! She takes the ideas presented in many relational books to a level that you can imply immediately! Well worth the money for the book or the credit in your Audible account! Enjoy!
