Story
In the house of Helios, god of the sun and mightiest of the Titans, a daughter is born. But Circe is a strange child—not powerful, like her father, nor viciously alluring like her mother. Turning to the world of mortals for companionship, she discovers that she does possess power—the power of witchcraft, which can transform rivals into monsters and menace the gods themselves.

This book was so beautifully written. It detailed gods and life and decisions into such spellbinding thoughtful ways. It was transforming. The narrator of this book was absolutely incredible. I would listen to any book she recorded. She made it all the more believable. I highly recommend.

the story was heartbreaking and told of generational pain that's carried through. it's amazing our life choices and how they have an impact not only on ourselves but on our children and grandchildren. what the native people experienced and the pain they had to go through, it's nothing short of genocide. no matter how many tears I shed I don't think we will ever understand the pain. the readers did a beautiful job of conveying the hurt and pain and misery and ache. it was a truly unique story of generations and how our pain gets brought down to others and how each person tries to survive. I highly recommend

Story
This “beautiful, brave book,” (Jenna Bush Hager, the Today show) is the story of Rebel Wilson’s remarkable personal transformation, from a painfully shy child in Australia who literally had to be dragged to drama classes and achieved break-out success in the US through iconic roles in Pitch Perfect, Bridesmaids, and Isn’t It Romantic.

Never Give Up

I really loved the book. I loved how a child figured out how to self-motivate and spur her life forward. I loved how she fought for what she wanted and never gave up no matter what. I love how she approached her problems head on and tried her best to get through them with respect and love. She's an amazing person and just absolutely gorgeous. I'm so happy for her that she found the joy of life and love and healing. She's so fun to watch as an actress and I highly recommend this book. PS the name dropping was super fun.
