Anthony Heald won me over
Reviewed: 01-22-20
there's not many people I would want to listen to for 20+ hours, and when I started the book I wasn't sure about Anthony Heald, but by the time I finished I was blown away by his reading. Very well done. And of course, the book itself is one of the best.

Fairly perfect

I've been listening to this book on repeat for a few days and have concluded that it is near perfection. Great translation, great voice. But really, is there a difference between Great and Not Great?

Story
Though Jack Kerouac began thinking about the novel that was to become On the Road as early as 1947, it was not until three weeks in April 1951, in an apartment on West 20th Street in Manhattan, that he wrote the first full draft that was satisfactory to him.

This audiobook does an amazing job of capturing Kerouac's rhythm and voice. As a longtime fan I was skeptical, but I highly recommend it.
