What a great book. I was heavy impacted by Donald McGavran, the father of the Church Growth movement who formulated the “homogeneous unit principle,” argued that “New Testament congregations were strikingly monoethnic.”

I’m so glad for Emerson’s clarity and insight. Helps me understand how we got to where we are today

Great book for people with anxiety, for those who come from a Christian background, and probably feel ashamed of their anxiety. Chang deals well with the stigma of anxiety and a solid theology in dealing with it.
