this is an amazing story told very well. it is gruesome and dark but it is also about the strength of the human spirit and very inspiring. Rudolph Vrba should be the name that is more widely known in this book does justice to a man who faced such Injustice during his life. doesn't paint him as a perfect man or a saint but as a strong man who was also flawed, as all men are. I highly recommend this book. it is about the Holocaust but it is also about much more.

I learned a ton about deep sea diving and this book read like a non-fiction thriller (drags slightly toward the end but that's just reality). nice interview after the book too!

Molly Shannon's story overcoming the loss of a parent at a very young age and building her entertainment career is inspiring. Her delivery is incredible. I felt like we were talking over drinks. this is a great listen.

this is a great quick listen of 17 stories about almost dying but it is also the story of the author and her life told in ways we can all relate to, told in ways to reflect on our lives

Draper does an incredible job showing in great detail how the Bush administration failed to foster culture of pursuing the truth. this book reads like a thriller and even though I knew what the outcome would be I had a hard time putting it down. there are a lot of organizational and personal details but the overall story is such a powerful leadership lesson. I highly recommend.

I'm pretty amazing story was useful lessons and research woven in. The author as narrator works well as she takes you on her journey from novice to surprising success in the poker world. The lessons and research she shares along the way are applicable to everyone. Don't read if you're looking at this from a poker expert perspective and seeking tips on how to play better.

takes you inside London during the Battle of Britain, a worthwhile read. makes you appreciate the terror Brits lived through and the leadership Churchill provided. some details went to far but the picture this book paints makes you appreciate what they went through. the reader is absolutely excellent.

Tiffany is very funny and so completely herself it's hard not to come away liking her more and amazed by all the crazy experiences she's had. she is inspiring for all that she's overcome.
