Story
Edwin St. Andrew is eighteen years old when he crosses the Atlantic by steamship, exiled from polite society following an ill-conceived diatribe at a dinner party. He enters the forest, spellbound by the beauty of the Canadian wilderness, and suddenly hears the notes of a violin echoing in an airship terminal—an experience that shocks him to his core.

So much unrealized potential.

This was a great 5 hour story, but it could have been an incredible 15-20 story. It built up really well then just fell short on delivering a second half to the story.

Other than the very annoying voice for the female character, this book is just not for adults. 10 to 13 year olds might enjoy it.

A fresh perspective on the super hero or villain genre. Some what predictable at times, and don't expect a life changing experience but still not a bad book. I would probably listen to the sequel if one is written.

Not a bad idea for a book just poorly executed. While the story had potential at times the climax was very non climatic. The story line just never matured into anything other than an idea that wasn't fully realized.

Why we think it’s a great listen: It’s easy to say that when it comes to sci-fi you either love it or you hate it. But with Ender’s Game, it seems to be you either love it or you love it.... The war with the Buggers has been raging for a hundred years, and the quest for the perfect general has been underway for almost as long. Enter Andrew "Ender" Wiggin, the result of decades of genetic experimentation.

This is one of the books that makes it hard to quit listening, one that does live up to the hype. Addictive story line as well as character depth. Just a warning though, as great as this book is the sequels don't live up to it.

Any additional comments?
Not a terrible Sci Fi story, it's just that none of the sequels live up to Enders Game.
