I thought it was very well done. The narrator didn't take away from the material and delivered the book in a easy to listen to way. I liked how the book introduces the admirals and how the author transports you through the story. It goes in-depth about each of the four and tells you how their careers leads to there positions at the beginning of World War 2. The author tells of the interactions and roles during World War 2 and how each admiral impacts the war. Then it sadly tells of there years after the war and also their legacy. I highly recommend this book.

As a father you always have known you matter, but this book does a great job of telling you on a scientific level why you do matter. It is not only informative, but empowering. This book shows you as a father that you can have a huge impact on your children's lives and it does it without diminishing the the mother or other family members. If you are a father, definitely listen to this book. If you are anyone else its a great listen to.

This was a pretty in-depth book about World War 2 it does seem to spend a lot of time on the atrocities of the sides involved more so then the battles that took place, But it is still very interesting.

I found this to be a great in-depth look at the battle of Kursk that is very technical, which I like, but others don't. So I suggest reading the description of the book and if you don't like that approach to describing a battle then don't get it if you do then this will be a great book.

This was such a great listen. I enjoyed every minute listening to this memoir of a pilot I had heard of and seen in "Dogfights" and other TV shows but this was so much more informative and interesting and it shows you the reality of being a pilot and specifically a fighter pilot.

First one of these for me I was impressed I have of course heard of Livy and have read small portions of it in the past but this was something else and new I plan to list to it again and get more info out of it. The writing and narrator at times made it hard to listen to but the second time should be much better.

This is a great book you get a great view of Gauis Julius Caesar and his campaigns in Gaul and in the Civil War. Obviously this is written by and for Caesar so it is propaganda but it is still very informative and interesting.

This was an amazing read for me I thought it was well written and narrated very well. I could picture the places the author was describing and the events being told. I really like when you hear/read material from veterans who were there and are telling you about their experiences. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys biographies, military history, and/or captivating stories.

I found Lost to the West: The Forgotten Byzantine Empire That Rescued Western Civilization to be a very well done book, for me it was a subject I knew less about. I found that the author, who also is the narrator, to be easy to listen to its nice to hear the actual author reading there own book. I learned a lot about the late Roman empire in the east. I have since listened to the authors podcasts as well. Overall its a great listen, enjoy.
