Story
She used to work for the US government, but very few people ever knew that. An expert in her field, she was one of the darkest secrets of an agency so clandestine it doesn't even have a name. And when they decided she was a liability, they came for her without warning. Now she rarely stays in the same place or uses the same name for long. They've killed the only other person she trusted, but something she knows still poses a threat. They want her dead, and soon.

An excellent story with great heroes and heroines and lots of action. The greatest heroes were the super dogs. I'ld recommend this listen to anyone needing company on a long drive to stay awake.

Story
In September 1960, John Steinbeck and his poodle, Charley, embarked on a journey across America, from small towns to growing cities to glorious wilderness oases. Travels with Charley is animated by Steinbeck’s attention to the specific details of the natural world and his sense of how the lives of people are intimately connected to the rhythms of nature—to weather, geography, the cycles of the seasons. His keen ear for the transactions among people is evident, too, as he records the interests and obsessions that preoccupy the Americans he encounters along the way.

Story
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

I was mesmerized by both the story and Trevor Noah whose intelligence and life earned insight were so evident in his narrative. I highly recommend this book to all who enjoy a great coming of age story and more importantly, an insight to South African racial history and interactions, education and lives. This should be a movie. Thank you Trevor Noah and a special thank you to your mother.

Story
A chain of events that will change the lives of each and every character will leave some of them wiser, some of them deader, and some of them definitely looking for a new line of work. With a wicked wit, razor-sharp observations, rich characters, and a plot with more twists than the Inland Waterway, Dave Barry makes his debut a complete and utter triumph.

Hilarious light humour, totally entertaining to listen to on long drives. Characters were funny, if not just a wee bit exaggerated which made the story even funnier. Good voice for all the characters. Highly recommended to all above the age of 16.
