I just love a mystery book. A really good cozy mystery book, curled up in my favorite chair with a cup of coffee on a rainy afternoon is the best reading time. Well I did not actually read this book I listened to it while working but that does not take away from how much I enjoyed this book.

This book has everything I enjoy reading about, a mystery, historical setting, and the royal family. What could be better? Oh yeah add in a broke heiress and it makes the story that much better.

As several reviewers have stated this is a ‘Delightful little mystery’ in a difficult genre to break into. A worthwhile book to any who enjoy the cozy mystery genre.

I do not know what which character I enjoyed more Lady Georgie, Darcy or Belinda. All three are well rounded characters that add more to the story. Darcy is an impoverished Irish peer but he is in the same boat as Lady Georgie, he is as poor as a church mouse. Then Belinda is just as poor but trying to get her designer clothing line off to a start. Belinda is a bit much on the wild side. She is always straining the bounds of what is right and loves to push those boundaries. However she is a faithful friend to Georgie.

Out of everyone my favorite character was Lady Georgie’s granddad. I can picture him with his cocky attitude and accent. Never letting anyone or anything stand in his way in helping his granddaughter.

I loved the narrator in this book. She really brought the characters to life for me. She provided the perfect tone for each character and situation.

The bunnies and I highly recommend this book in audio for all who enjoy a cozy mystery.

The bunnies and I give this book 4 carrots.

This is the first in the Whodunnit series by Anthony Zuiker. After reading the authors bio I realized he created several television shows that I have enjoyed watching. It seems like this author has many different creative outlets and they all pull readers into wanting more.

This story line was very interesting. It almost played out similar to a murder mystery weekend or a dinner theater murder/mystery. Something that will pull readers in and allow them to want more.

Then we have the narrator Gildart Jackson. His voice is something that kept me interested while listening to the audio book. I cannot wait to listen to more by this great narrator or read books by this great author.

So far the author only has two books out in his Whodunnit mystery series. I really hope he will publish more in the future.

The bunnies and I recommend this book to any who enjoy an intriguing mystery novel.

Earlier this year I started listening to audio books while I work. Just another way for me to get in more books to read. I was tired of listening to the radio each day and wanted some type of background noise. A friend and author recommend I start listening to audio book. I told her that I did not think I could get involved in the book as much as I did when reading. She kept pushing me to just try. Well I tried it and I have to state that I love it. I quickly listened to most anything I could find and found that my local library carried so many audio books. If you have not tried audio books I highly suggest you give them a try. You just might be surprised at how great they really are.

I love the start of this book. The story took me back to Fantasy Island staring Ricardo Montalban and Hervé Villechaize, a show I loved to watch. A mystery island that will keep the guest entertained while they grow stronger as they face challenges.

The narrator Gildart Jackson was a joy to listen to. His voice kept me enthralled in the story. The performance was great. The overall story was entertaining. It allowed me to visualized each character and the narrator helped kept each person separate in my mind.

For a mystery audio book the bunnies and I recommend to any who enjoy mystery.
