The Blood Angels Chapter of Space Marines is under threat. Having obliterated all human life in the Red Scar region of space, the largest tendril of Hivefleet Leviathan ever seen in the Imperium has converged and is making relentlessly for Baal. I know it's hard to write about nids as you can't do more then narrate the perspective but the narration was great. overall solid book and I'm not even a space marine fan by any means

Story
The Deathwatch are the elite of the elite - small teams of Space Marines handpicked for special missions that require the utmost courage and cunning. Now recovered from the injuries sustained on his previous mission, Codicier Karras must lead Talon Squad in the hunt for a missing inquisitor. Their only clue is the name of an Imperial planet that has been taken over by the T’au. Is the missing inquisitor alive or dead? Worse still, has she gone rogue, jeopardising one of the Inquisition’s most secret projects?

It's true the story is slow starting but

Yes the book is slow starting but it's laying the foundation of a great story base and really helps you get invested in every interesting unique character in the story. The diversity of enemies and problems the Deathwatch have to overcome in this book is fantastic yet different then the "all out war" you get in some many other books. Lovely
