Story
From the acclaimed author of the Chaos Walking trilogy and A Monster Calls comes one of the most provocative teen novels of our time. A boy named Seth drowns, desperate and alone in his final moments. But then he wakes. He is naked, thirsty, starving. But alive. How is this possible? He remembers dying, his bones breaking, his skull dashed upon the rocks. So how is he here? And where is this place? The street seems familiar, but everything is abandoned, overgrown, covered in dust.

Well written but he forgot the ending

Loved the story but as I saw the minutes tick away at the end and realized there was no more to the story, I felt disappointed. There is a lot more to be told.

Story
On a flight from London to Boston, Ted Severson meets the stunning and mysterious Lily Kintner. Sharing one too many martinis, the strangers begin to play a game of truth, revealing intimate details about themselves. Ted talks about his marriage that’s going stale and his wife, Miranda, who he’s sure is cheating on him. Ted and his wife were a mismatch from the start - he the rich businessman, she the artistic free spirit - a contrast that once inflamed their passion but has now become a cliché. But their game turns a little darker when Ted jokes that he could kill Miranda....

Story
Hazel has just moved into a trailer park of senior citizens, with her father and Diane - his extremely lifelike sex doll - as her roommates. Life with Hazel's father is strained at best, but her only alternative seems even bleaker. She's just run out on her marriage to Byron Gogol, CEO and founder of Gogol Industries, a monolithic corporation hell-bent on making its products and technologies indispensable in daily life.

Great tv series- depressing book

If you are looking for a edifying, good feeling, hopeful story—move on to the next book your list. I listened through the whole book waiting for something good to happen, something positive, a slightly happy ending. Nope. Depressing chapter after depressing chapter all the way to the end. Ugh- I need to go read some Calvin and Hobbes comics before bed
so I don’t wake up screaming.

Story
With courage, grace, and powerful insight, bestselling author Kristin Hannah captures the epic panorama of World War II and illuminates an intimate part of history seldom seen: the women's war. The Nightingale tells the stories of two sisters, separated by years and experience, by ideals, passion and circumstance, each embarking on her own dangerous path toward survival, love, and freedom in German-occupied, war-torn France—a heartbreakingly beautiful novel that celebrates the resilience of the human spirit and the durability of women. It is a novel for everyone, a novel for a lifetime.

It's crazy to drive slower as you get closer to home each night! This book was so engaging i did exactly that; and the story never lagged or bored me. How many 17 hour audio books can you say that about? Very nice balance between adventure, history, family dynamics...with a small touch of romance to warn the heart. I don't regret a single minute of listening time.
