Story
New York Times best-selling author David A. Stockman is the ultimate Washington insider turned iconoclast. Here, he debunks Trump-O-Nomics and the perils of Washington's addiction to perpetual wars. Stockman says Trump is headed for a great big fall from the imminent crash of a 30-year financial bubble, which he condemned on the campaign trail, but foolishly embraced once in office. Stockman warns "the twin fiscal menace of the Warfare State and Welfare State" will be Trump's undoing.

Stockman is a 'never trumper', so beware

Stockman is a brilliant free-market economist, and well written, but he's also a never Trump-er (that refers to a republican that hates Trump, and likely voted for Hillary). For the purposes of this review, that means, he could well be incapable of being objective about him--and in this case he is. As i listened i kept thinking, stick to economics, David. That's why i'm reading your book. But like many famous and smart people, he seems to think that his opinion on ANY topic is always going to be far superior to any of the opinions of us 'lesser' people. His emotional Trump animosity was pervasive, to the point that it called into question his objectivity on even his economic points. So, he lost credibility with me and i could no longer count on getting the info i came to the book to get.
