Story
Stranger in a Strange Land is the epic saga of an earthling, Valentine Michael Smith, born and educated on Mars, who arrives on our planet with “psi” powers—telepathy, clairvoyance, precognition, telekinesis, teleportation, pyrolysis, and the ability to take control of the minds of others—and complete innocence regarding the mores of man. After his tutelage under a surrogate father figure, Valentine begins his transformation into a kind of messiah.

Story
The Posleen are coming and the models all say the same thing: Without the Panama Canal, the US is doomed to starvation and defeat. Despite being overstretched preparing to defend the US, the military sends everything it has left: A handful of advanced Armored Combat Suits, rejuvenated veterans from the many decades that Panama was a virtual colony and three antiquated warships. Other than that, the Panamanians are on their own.

this story line was well written, well spoken and the end bit was informative. As a young boy who watched 1984, I was horrified to come to the realization that they didn't have to FORCE it on us, make it fun and attractive and we would pay for it.

The human was an expert sniper-and a psychopath. He had never failed in the past when he stalked human prey. But now he is on an enemy planet, and his prey is anything but human. The Darhel are a race with a highly developed empathic sense. Long ago, they learned that they cannot deal death to another intelligent being without being destroyed by the death agonies of their victim.

While in the timeline of creation, this book takes places centuries ahead on the timeline and may (not exactly) spoil the outcome, if you truly want to engulf yourself in the struggle, it will change your mindest. well written and well narrated.

This was my fifth time going through this series and I own nearly all of John Ringo's works. easy to listen to, especially nice if you have read thw book and can learn the pronunciation for some of the alien names.
