Story
Why is Miami… Miami? What does the heartbreaking fate of the cheetah tell us about the way we raise our children? Why do Ivy League schools care so much about sports? What is the Magic Third, and what does it mean for racial harmony? In this provocative new work, Malcolm Gladwell returns to the subject of social epidemics and tipping points, this time with the aim of explaining the dark side of contagious phenomena. Through a series of gripping stories, Gladwell traces the rise of a new and troubling form of social engineering

Riveting

Unlike the original Tipping Point, he came with modern day receipts and more than just case studies. He expanded (or refuted depending on your perception) lot of his original thesis. I fully enjoyed it and felt like he was telling this essay like a true crime podcast, like it was a race against time with the subject matters.

Whispers and Shouting ruin the story
Reviewed: 04-14-22
A decent historical mystery ruined by the performance. Do not listen to this book with headphones or ear phones. The performer whispers for the majority of the book and then actually shouts into the microphone. Your eardrums will thank me.
